About Me

Greeting my little Lams! (yes I did spell that correctly)

My name is Julie. First off, I am nobody special – just a small Asian on the path to self discovery, trying to find her place in this world. As my friends are all aware, I’m a very affectionate person. You can never have enough hugs 🙂
I love a good laugh and enjoy watching movies. I don’t wear make-up (nothing against it personally), I’m just as ordinary and plain as it gets! My most ideal night out would actually be a night in, either with my partner or some friends. We would be playing games, having a few drinks, or watching a movie. In fact, I’m probably considered boring in this day and age.

I’m the youngest of three, although I feel like an only child. I haven’t lived with my family since I was in high school but I still see them every now and again. I was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia. I’m a full-time student, currently studying Chiropractic at RMIT. I spent two years studying Acupuncture and Chinese Manual Therapy. If I could bare getting a third degree (which is highly unlikely), I would do further study in functional neurology.
I have a very broad range of interests, too much to mention all of them, but here are a few: music; health and fitness; personal development; entrepreneurship and psychology. You see what I mean?!
There are many reasons I decided to start this blog:

Provide a Resource: I wanted to be able to provide a one-stop-shop for those who have similar interests (i.e. personal development, productivity hacks etc.). I’ve had to gather my information through a range of resources which were extremely time consuming. I’ve searched the internet, read countless books and listened to audiobooks. I’ve done extensive research and watched YouTube videos. The issue is, they’re all over the place! I just wanted to have one resource which encapsulated most of the things I was interested in, and that is what I will try to provide here.

Social Interaction: Have you ever wanted to share an experience to help others who might be going through it? Have you ever felt like nobody understands you? Have you wanted to help someone deal with their pain, or simply let someone know “it’s okay”? This is me all the time..

Creative Outlet: I love writing and I’ve only been doing it in private as a hobby up until now. It’s about time I stop being afraid and start taking action! After all, you only get better with practice.

Community: I want to provide a space where readers can feel comfortable to comment and share their thoughts too. Perhaps they want to share a links or useful information that is related to the blog to help other readers. I want to create an open and positive space that allows everyone the opportunity to help someone else.

So there you have it, now you know a little bit about me 🙂
